I'm a GIS professional with roots that go back to the earliest days of desktop mapping — Arc/Info on a Unix workstation, hand-drafted cartography, and a master's thesis on urban green infrastructure that still shapes how I think about spatial problems. Over a 30-year career I've built geocoding services, administered enterprise ArcGIS environments for New York State agencies, written Python scripts to automate spatial workflows, and developed dashboards that put real-time data in the hands of emergency managers. Along the way I spent time in GIS software product management and GIS has always been the thread running through everything — and these days I'm happily back where I started, doing the hands-on spatial work I love most.
